Old Age Security (OAS) is paid monthly to Canadians aged 65+. Payment dates are the same as CPP. The Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) and Allowance are deposited on the same day.
The maximum 2026 OAS pension is approximately $735.84/month for those aged 65–74 and $809.42/month for those 75+. To get the maximum, you need 40 years of Canadian residency after age 18. Partial OAS is available with at least 10 years.
The OAS clawback (recovery tax) starts when your net world income exceeds about $93,454 in 2026 — 15 cents back for each dollar over.
