Tipping culture in Canada is similar to the United States. In restaurants, 15–20% is the standard range for good service. 15% is considered baseline, while 18–20% reflects above-average service. Some people tip 25% or more for exceptional experiences.

For takeout, 10% is common but not expected. For delivery services, $3–5 or 15% is typical. Barbers and hair stylists usually receive 15–20%. Taxi and rideshare drivers typically get 10–15%.
