Add total wages (regular + vacation pay + stat pay) earned in the 30 calendar days before the holiday. Divide by the number of days you actually worked in that window. That's your daily stat pay.

These rules apply across all of British Columbia including Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Victoria, Richmond — provincial labour standards don't vary by city. Federally regulated employees in these cities (banks, airlines, telecoms) follow the federal stat holiday rules instead.
You must have been employed for 30+ calendar days AND worked or earned wages on at least 15 of those 30 days (or worked under an averaging agreement).
Stat pay PLUS 1.5× regular rate for the first 12 hours and 2× after that.
You still get the average daily stat pay if you meet the 15-of-30 days test.
